Environmental Health, Safety, and Risk Management
The Office of Environmental Health and Safety and Risk Management (EHS/RM) seeks to minimize the risk of injury or illness to employees, students and visitors from hazards associated with biohazardous agents, chemicals and/or laboratory processes.
In order to ensure safety in the laboratory, EHS/RM requires that a representative of each laboratory complete a hazard assessment. Laboratory hazard assessments should be completed prior to new laboratory activities and each time there is a change in the laboratory activities.
