Waste Management
Federal, State, and Local Requirements
The Federal, State, and occasionally even local governments have set forth regulatory requirements for the collection and disposal various wastes. Understanding these requirements can be difficult and confusing. It is EHS's responsibility to read and interpret these regulations to make your job on campus less complicated by providing you training and guidance to properly identify your waste, and facilitate the disposal of wastes requiring special handling.
