Spring 2026 Important Deadlines:

● Census & final deadline for Fee Waiver submission: February 13, 2026

● Waivers received after the census date will not initially be accepted and are subject to denial.

Benefits Eligibility and Enrollment

Employees become eligible for benefits when they meet specific appointment and time-base requirements. Most appointments must exceed six months and one day with a time base of at least .50. Academic-year lecturers and coaches are eligible if appointed for a minimum of one semester with a time base of .40 or greater.

Employees who do not meet these criteria may still qualify for health benefits under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) if they work an average of 130 hours per month (.75 FTE or more).

If you are newly eligible for benefits—either as a new hire or under the ACA—please complete and submit the Benefits Enrollment Form within 60 days of your eligibility date.
