Employee Driving Authorization

*If you are not a university employee, please follow the Volunteer Driving Authorization instructions here.

All employees who are driving on university business must be authorized to drive on university business.

Authorization to Drive on University Business for paid faculty, staff or student assistants.

1. Click here to submit your University Driving Authorization Request Form. (5 minutes long).  Please have your Driver's License with you before you start.

Note:  Submission of this form is an annual requirement.  Once submitted, you will receive an email to remind you to re-submit this form a month prior to your due date.


2.  Click here to take the CSU Learn Driving Safely, Driving Smarter Training course (49 minutes long). If a new window does not open, try disabling the pop-up blocker by going to the URL bar, right hand side, click on the "X" and "allow pop-ups from this page".  Note:  this training is required every 4 years.

3.  Will you be driving a golf cart/powered cart/gator?  Click here to take the CSU Learn Powered Cart Safety Training course (15 minutes long).  If a new window does not open, try disabling the pop-up blocker by going to the URL bar, right hand side, click on the "X" and "allow pop-ups from this page".  Note:  this training is required every 4 years.
