Surplus Property Warehouse

All of Fresno State''s surplus materials (including computers, desks, chairs, etc.) end up at the surplus property warehouse. The items are then redistributed to other offices on campus or may be donated to non-profit organizations with 501 (c)(3) status and public schools.  Any surplus property that is deemed of no use or value to the campus will be sold via public auction through Public Surplus or eBay.

Deliveries: Small items will be picked up from the department by the warehouse staff. If you have more than a few items, or a large item, you must fill out a Request for Property Survey Form for the Property Department to pick up the items. A Request for Property Survey Form must be completed first, before any items will be picked up from a department. After a Request for Property Survey Form has been received by the Property Control Clerk and approved for survey, items will be picked up from the department.

Pick-ups: After finding an item in the surplus property warehouse and you wish to take it with you, a Transfer of Property form must be completed. 

Location: Surplus Property Warehouse is located in the University Warehouse on the corner or Barstow and Woodrow.  The Warehouse and Property door is located on the south side of the building next to the loading dock.

Hours: The Surplus Property Warehouse is open for browsing on Wednesdays between 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be no surplus property viewing after 3:00 p.m.  By scheduling an appointment a department may view surplus property on other days.
