About Us

We are an administrative department charged with operating the University's environmental health/quality, occupational safety, risk management, industrial hygiene and hazardous materials management programs.

Services

The Office of Environmental Health, Safety and Risk Management (EHS/RM), through its staff, offers a broad variety of services to the entire university community. These services include:               

• Environmental Management - Air and Water quality management, Hazardous Waste disposal, food safety, disease prevention and control.
• Safety (Occupational and Student) - injury and illness prevention, industrial hygiene, laboratory safety, radiation safety                  
• Risk Management - risk recognition, control and transfer; liability insurance and claims, university driving authorization and special event processing
