Activity classes and ongoing physical wellness programs help support a healthy and high performing workforce. These programs change every semester so watch out for new content and sign-ups.
Session 1: August 22 - September 28
Tuesdays & Thursday, 12:15 to 1:00 p.m., South Gym 134
This is a combination of upper body, lower body and aerobic exercises paired with upbeat music. 6-8 exercises per meeting will keep your body moving and motivated with variety. Alternating focus areas will allow parts to recover while keeping the workout going. Resistance bands are optional to increase the difficulty.
Session 2: October 3 - October 31
Tuesdays & Thursdays , 12:15 to 1:00 p.m., South Gym 134
Set to motivating music, this rejuvenating combination of stretch and strengthening exercises will integrate the core, back, legs and arms to give your body strength and tone. Participants of all levels are encouraged to participate and modify movements to meet individual needs. In order to get the most out of this workout, consistent attendance is recommended.
Session 3: November 2 - December 7
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 12:15 to 1:00 p.m., South Gym 134
This activity is designed to integrate the body and mind in a peaceful atmosphere. Balance will improve as we work from the earth to find our ground and center. Stretch and full breath will elongate and free our muscles. A variation of gentle poses encourage strength inviting us to be invigorated and refreshed mid-day.
