Georgianna Negron‑Long

Georgianna Negron‑Long leads Organizational Development at Fresno State, partnering across campus to design and deliver high‑quality, innovative training and development that supports the university community. Her work engages staff and managers through robust learning experiences, leadership programs, and campus‑wide initiatives. 

An alumna with a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in General Experimental Psychology, Georgianna previously served for a decade as a Health Educator in the Student Health and Counseling Center, where she created impactful well‑being programs. She’s been recognized with the Staff Lifelong Learner Award and the Psychology Department Alumni of the Year Award. 

On campus, Georgianna convenes and collaborates widely—supporting STAR Day (Staff Training And Recognition Day), professional development surveys and programming, and leadership offerings like the Principles of Supervision training and the Administrative Academy—while fostering community through book clubs and other engagement opportunities. She has also contributed service through roles such as chair of the Occupational Health, Safety, and Wellness Committee and on university committees and task forces, such as the AI Professional Development committee.

Eloisa began her career at Fresno State in 2007 with the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs before joining the Office of Organizational Development, where she now serves as Administrative Support Coordinator. She manages daily operations and provides comprehensive support for programs that enhance professional growth and personal well-being across campus.

In her role, Eloisa coordinates a wide range of workshops, activities, webinars, and special events, handling logistics such as scheduling, technology setup, catering, evaluations, and promotion. She also maintains the CSU Learn system, ensuring course sessions, rosters, and reports are accurate and accessible to support continuous learning opportunities.

With more than 18 years of administrative experience, Eloisa is an essential part of the Organizational Development team, helping the office run seamlessly while advancing initiatives that foster learning, growth, and community at Fresno State.
