Overview
The Administrative Support Academy is designed to create a collaborative learning community for administrative professionals in support roles across campus. The Academy emphasizes networking, resource-sharing, and skill development to enhance knowledge, improve professional competencies, and foster employee engagement.
- Share knowledge, learn and solve problems collaboratively
- Increase awareness of campus resources, policies and procedures
- Create connections among administrative personnel (new hires with seasoned employees and staff of different divisions across the campus)
- Enhance skills and competencies of participants
- Better equip university for change
- Identify additional training needs for the campus community
- Enhance employee engagement

Eligibility:
The Academy is open to administrative support staff. New employees as well as seasoned professionals are invited and encouraged to participate. Applicants who have not participated in a past Academy will receive priority consideration. Participants are required to submit an application and receive supervisor approval. Participants are expected to attend all seven (7) sessions.
Schedule:
Administrative Academy sessions are monthly and held in-person on Fridays from 2:00
p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
