Organizational Excellence

Team Building & Retreat Planning

Strengthen your team dynamics with fun team building activities, or let us help you plan and structure department/office/division retreats. We specialize in improving communication, strengthening relationships, managing change, innovation, strategic planning, and a variety of other topics. The Office of Organizational Excellence is happy to work with you and provide support for your team in whatever area you need.

Team Building

Schedule a hands-on workshop to learn through firsthand experiences the importance of identifying and understanding objectives, how to effectively communicate with all team members, and how to build trust, rely on one another, and ultimately build a productive team.  Team building activities can be modified for specific outcomes based on department or office needs.

Strengths

Learn how to maximize your team's potential and increase the camaraderie and confidence of your staff through exploring Clifton StrengthsFinder. StrengthsFinder reveals an individual's top 5 strengths, which explain their greatest motivators for behavior and how they see the world. Through understanding your Strengths, you will be able to understand why you do what you do and how to easily shift your perspective to learn and accomplish any task from a place of ease rather than frustration. In addition, learning your team's strengths allows the entire group to function more efficiently and cohesively as a unit, understanding what others are naturally good at and how to best motivate and encourage the entire team. Lastly, you will also learn how to structure your team in ways that empower members to do what they do best - ultimately utilizing everyone's natural talents to become a much stronger unit.

Real Colors

Have you ever asked yourself, "Why do people do the things they do?" Real Colors is a fun, interactive workshop that will provide you with skills to understand human behavior in a new way. In this two to four hour workshop, learn to identify your own – and other people’s – Real Colors and personal strengths; understand the different ways people process information; communicate with others in the most effective way possible; and learn to recognize and appreciate the strengths and viewpoints of others.  This workshop is ideal for groups of 20-50.  Teams from University Communications and the Student Health Center have already scheduled their Real Colors training – consider bringing your team together to sign up today!
