Celebrating Excellence

At Fresno State, we are committed to celebrating the excellence of our faculty and staff by providing a number of opportunities throughout the year to acknowledge the great work and service done across the campus.

The President's Showcase of Excellence features innovative and bold projects from across campus that support Fresno State's strategic priorities.

Staff Recognition Awards recognizes the exemplary work of a handful of Fresno State staff based upon nominations from their colleagues in four award categories. This program was the result of a 2018 Bold Idea and recommendation of a CAIFE team and was modeled after the Provost’s awards for faculty excellence.

STAR Day (Staff Training And Recognition) is a full-day professional development and staff recognition event, complete with a special luncheon recognizing and honoring staff for their years of service to the university.
