Committee Recommendations

The Master Plan Coordinating Committee met on January 4, 2007 and would like to present the following recommendations:

  • Restrict service vehicle access on the campus core between 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Deliveries/loading to be done from the perimeter of campus
  • Modify delivery times
  • Create bike lanes
  • Create a new main entrance on Shaw Avenue.
  • Create a "One-Stop Shop" visitor's center at the main entrance of campus
  • Improve way finding signage
  • Construct a parking structure over lots J & A and K & L
  • Create green space on top of parking structure on site of lots K & L
  • Connect east and west of campus with well lit, safe walkways
  • Designate a portion of O'Neil Park as a playing field
  • Adopt master plan

The Coordinating Committee would also like to present the following policy changes:

  • Interior corridors (no vehicles)
  • Cart policy
  • Playing fields dedicated to students
  • Prohibit temporary buildings on campus
