Central Utility Plant Tours
The Central Utility Plant at Fresno State is a marvel of construction and engineering. The existing buildings at the university were retrofitted and renovated to update infrastructure and address deferred maintenance, replace old equipment, and increase energy efficiency. New boilers, chillers, and distribution piping along with other countless pieces of equipment were installed and construction completed in 2024. The plant is now available upon request for group tours to learn about the equipment and processes that provide heating and cooling for campus year-round.
