[ September 6, 2020, 5:37 PM ]
Dear Students and Colleagues:
With the fires in the Fresno area this weekend, including the Creek Fire, we want to ensure that our students, faculty and staff are safe in the event that they may have been evacuated or experienced any personal losses. The safety of our campus community is always a priority.
If you have had to evacuate or have lost internet connectivity or power due to the fires, please fill out this Wildfire Impact Form. In addition, you may contact the following persons who can assist:
For students:
Contact your instructor regarding your situation. If you need further assistance, contact Dean Bernadette Muscat: bmuscat@csufresno.edu.
For staff:
Please contact your supervising manager or your Associate Vice President/Dean/Associate Dean who will help to provide emergency assistance as needed.
For faculty:
If you are unable to continue with instruction of your classes, please let your students, department chair and dean know. If you don’t have internet access, contact your department chair or dean as soon as possible, and they will ensure that an email message is sent to your students. If you need further assistance, contact Associate Vice President Marsha Baum: baum@csufresno.edu.
In addition, for faculty, if you have been directly impacted by the fires, please let your department chair or manager know so that we can help to provide emergency assistance.
Again, our highest priority is your safety and that of your family.
Sincerely,
Saúl Jiménez-Sandoval
Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs
